I have owned this vehicle since 1990 after it was imported into this country. It has undergone a complete restoration and conversion to RHD over several years, completed 1997. Restoration is a word often used to describe a quick respray and some minor attention. My car has had a full strip down, carefully refitting bodywork to give superb panel and shut gaps (look at how poor many cars are in that respect). Bare metal paint process: all panels removed to bare tub, all panels painted separately and carefully reassembled, I have full photographs of this being done. The external body is many coats of cellulose. The engine compartment/chassis is two-pack for extra resistance to chips/fluids. All done professionally by a restoration company. Kept in dehumidified garage. Never driven in rain since restoration. A solid impressive car in lovely condition.
The interior has new front and rear seat leather (black with red piping) on new hi-density foams. New trim panels. New aluminium trims. New carpets. New hood. New tonneau cover. New windscreen glass. New wiring loom. New lots more.
The engine fitted is a mkIII 150bhp unit, not the original spec, but the best of the engines for power and smoothness. Overdrive 3rd & 4th gears. New stainless steel exhaust. New tyres fitted to 60 spoke wires. New springs. New brake discs with o/hauled calipers.
Heritage Certificate, lots of bills and MOTs to show that recently (2yrs) I have done only a few hundred miles in this car. I have no time, and the car deserves to be used
I do have an original (blue plastic outer ring binder, not a more modern version) Healey 3000 Workshop Manual in good condition, it is 40 year old! £40 plus p&p
Also: A RH and LH pair of brake calipers for a BT7 3000 (will fit others) these are new BUT have some surface rust. £80 plus p&p
